Gomerriffic .... I think it came down to I just don't care if it's girly.  I don't know why, but I don't even remotely care.

I don't think it's "girly" or "manly" I just think it's artistic. I was just wondering if there was some moment where you just decided. Sadly, I think my hubby won't ever spin Sad But that's okay, more fiber for me! Cheesy Thanks for the insight.

All of the skeins look absolutely delicious. I've got a serious case of yarn lust going on over here. <3

Wow, all of these yarns are gorgeous!  Interestingly enough, my brother has worked at a historical fort for the past 5 or so summers, and in addition to being the blacksmith, he can actually spin on a drop spindle!  His boss gave me one last year, so I think it's time to ask my brother to teach me now that he's home on break.... So maybe in the not-too-distant future I can actually post pictures instead of just adoration.  Cheesy

Everyones yarns look absolutely delish!  As always Wink
My post is late... I'm visiting the family for Christmas in Alaska and I must say it's near impossible to get enough sunlight to get a decent photo!
I dub this yarn Princess Puke.
It's a whole bunch of firsts for me!  My first time spinning on a wheel, my first time using a drum carder, the first time blending my own fibers, and my first time plying with beads!!  I was so excited to be visiting my mom and to learn how to use the wheel... half of my suitcase was filled with roving... hahaha.
Anyhow... It's about 77 yards... Thick and thin... plied with thread and glass beads and faux pearls.  It's shades of purple, pink, periwinkle, red, and white.
I want to knit something for my mom for Christmas.. but.. I've never knit anything with this kind of yarn before.  Any suggestions?  Oh.. and I'm not allowed to make her anymore scarves...
Merry Christmas everyone!
