Here is the shirt I received in this swap. It is screen printed with a skull and the saying "knit fast, die warm" and an embroidered Strawberry Shortcake pirate on the sleeve  Cheesy I think it is from Calluna?

Cute! I love the Strawberry Shortcake on the sleeve!  Grin

It looks better there than in real life, I'm sorry to say.  Embarrassed  It was a fun project, and I suppose I did a good job for a beginner who had never heard of fabric stabilizer, but it is still the work of a beginner who had never heard of fabric stabilizer.

I also didn't know that Leah/Craftster has a trademark on the skull and knitting-needle crossbones design when I made the shirt...oops.

I hope my skills improve this year, at least at half the rate of my awareness of how far I have to go!  Smiley

I love it Calluna and it actually looks better in person than on the screen  Smiley  You did great if you are just beginning embroidery!

Took me forever to post (I have trouble remembering posting pictures of my own things rather than other people's!)

But here's the pictures of the items I sent to k8kre8s!! (And promised her I could post pictures! Sorry for the delay, Kate!)

It was an owl-y package:

An olive & pink stencilled shirt (the stencil is from sewpixie!)

And a mini realistic-owl cushion. (Here it is chilling with a polka dot cushion).

Since Mnkymama is MIA, I'll post some photos of what I made for her. I went with a whole "monkey" theme.
I made her a record journal, record bowl, and record mail holder. All from "Monkee" records.

I also included some monkey pens!

Hope she liked it!

I heart comics! Visit my store website!

That stenciled owl shirt is super cute!

squirrelgirl, the mail holder turned out really cool. I made some record bowls for Christmas, but I could not make the mail holders work. How'd you do it?

I got my amazing package from TAOJ today!!!!!!!!  Thank you so very much, it rocks!!!!!

An amazing handmade sock sack with some hand-dyed wool yarn!  The sack is so great, perfect for knitting on the go, with a grommet on the top to lead the yarn through.  I LOVE THE FABRIC!!!!!  So awesome!

And an awesome matching needle roll!!!!!!  It is so nicely made, I love the stitching on it.  I will be the envy of everyone at my SnB meeting next week for sure.

Thank you so much TAOJ for angeling for me!!!  It was so worth the wait!!
