I have a great friend from high school and we're on seperate coasts, and he is the only person I have left to craft for, and I'm just drawing a blank.

He and I both had '68 Firebirds, so I was thinking about making something that has to do with the cars, but I just don't know how to pull it all together.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.  I did find a '68 Firebird Hot Wheels on eBay that I may buy, but I want to have a plan first so I'm not just buying stuff that won't be used.

I have several craft books available for trade/Wist items/supplies.  Please see my profile for more info Smiley

Hmmm... I don't know where your crafty talents lie but how about a a simple throw blanket with t-shirt transfer images of the firebird - I put 68 firebird into the yahoo images search and they have heaps of images including engine shots - or a blocked quilt? Clocks are always good and you could incorporate the car or firefighting. T-shirt stencilling or transfers are good. If he still has a nice car how about seat covers or a dash mat. A shrinky-dink keyring of his old car maybe?

That's about all I got, good luck.

you could turn the firebird hot wheels into a christmas ornament, if he's the type that has a christmas tree.
