I've made a strap, for a friend's mandolin case. The problem is, there isn't anything on the case to attach a strap to. It's just a smooth case surface. I'm thinking of attaching some sort of rings to the case, to tie the strap to, but I'm not sure how I would attach the rings to the case itself. Any ideas??

Thanks in advance for your help.

I would go to an music store & peek at the guitars & such. I know putting a hole in the body of an accoustic instrument will change it's sound, plugging the hole won't neccesarily return it to original sound either.

Most music shops sell parts, anything that is suitable for an accoustic guitar should work on a mandolin, tell them that is what you are looking for.
