I love this board and get such inspiration from it but, ok well, this is my first post and the first pair of shoes I've tried to tart-up, so please don't be too harsh!

So I took an old pair of Converse that were just boringly brown with pink dots (which you can see at the top of the tongue) and made them look like this - please follow links Smiley

Clearly this is only one shoe, but the other one basically looks the same!
Constructive criticism appreciated ( I like them anyway!) Thanks for looking Smiley

those are so cute!! what did you use to colour them with? and did you use a sealant afterwards? (total shoe noob here)

i love the colour and the images you used - they're not too "in your face" but really effective  Smiley

Just acrylic paint and then sealed them with acrylic varnish Smiley I've never done shoes either, so it was a bit of an experiment, but so far they haven't run in the rain or anything!

Thanks for the nice comments - I was worried that no-one liked them!

Your AllStars are very pretty and cute =D
It's a nice way too modify a shoe if your bored with it Smiley Although I wouldn't do this to my AllStars ( my parents would freak out XD )
