Well, I actually survived Thanksgiving.  We had all my boyfriend's family over, and a couple friends (my family is in Canada).  I prepared for about 2 weeks.  Here is what I made:
Homemade cranberry sauce made with Apple Cider and Cinnamon
Beans with Italian Spice, Onions, and Tomatoes
Mashed Potatoes with Rosemary and Garlic
Salad with Pears and Candied Walnuts (made those too) with Raspberry Dressing
Pumpkin Cheesecake recipe here: http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Double-Layer-Pumpkin-Cheesecake-2/Detail.aspx
Cranberry butter for the buns
and of course the TURKEY! recipe here http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Easy-Herb-Roasted-Turkey/Detail.aspx
and the best gravy ever!

Without further adieu here are the pics!

Plate o' food.  Other people brought stuff too- you can see the sweet potatoes on my plate.  I couldn't fit it all on one plate!

My lovely turkey

Here's me and Shawn in our cute aprons his stepmom bought for us!  (Look how hot I was from being in the kitchen!)

This one's a little blurry but you can see the aprons better.

I was mostly worried about if I would have enough food, and if it would be cooked at the right time, but we had MORE than enough, and it all was done within the time I thought.

It really enjoyed cooking it all but alas, it wasn't as fulfilling as I thought it would be- it took me so long to prepare it but everyone just garbled it down in 5 minutes!  Either way, it was great, and I did get one "this is the best turkey EVER" comment so that made my day Smiley.   Everything was delicious.  Comments appreciated!
