I love it, so cute. Much much better than the original Cheesy

Hey Fiber People: I am very interested in personal swaps for painted/dyed roving or top. I can swap supplies or crafted items. Let's talk!

holy freaking moly!   1) I'm in love with your new suit - flat out stunning, incredibly creative and stunning! I know I'm gushing, but jeezopeez!    Couture from a thrift store find...

2) YOU LOOK MAHVELOUS in it!

I'm just blown away and ROCKIN' IT!

Awww, thanks everyone for the kind comments!  I wasn't sure if anyone could appreciate a big butt of ruffles as much as I do... I just love Craftster people!

In the Before pics, you are camera-shy then AFTER you are striking America's Next Top Model poses wearing your hot new outfit.
Cheesy I'm still terrified in the after pics, but I was just too happy with it to care!

I would make one teeny tiny change.  In the first pic, the armholes from the front appear maybe an inch to an inch and a half too broad. It isn't that obvious, since your hands are on your hips, I just mean that they could be cut a little bit narrower behind the lapel and you would get a smoother fit when you drop your arms.

/\ Oh! Thanks so much for the suggestion!  I can see what you mean.  This was my first try at reconstructing a jacket-type thing, and to be honest, armholes and sleeves are my kryptonite. (part of the reason why I picked a suit without sleeves  Wink )  I will take your advice and try slimming down the sides a little bit since I'm sure it would look better.  hopefully I'll be able to alter it without messing it up too much!

I would love to do some personal swaps.
I'm looking for handmade soaps, jewelry, and knit legwarmers/socks.
pm me if I can sew something for you!
