I started to make a poppet and wanted to make her have a little friend.  I found a great kitty to make online (if I could only remember where I would gladly give out the web address...look up "terry cloth kitty/cat")  Except the cat was calling out for some excitement and so I made it with a polka dot fabric.  It was the first 3-D animal I've ever made and I messed up the tail once and I had some issues sewing on the head, but think I have a system down now.
Ta-dA!

..from the side, she a cute little cat, but sadly doesn't have a name yet.  She's meant for little niece who will give her a good home and I know will name her right away.

Sorry for the nakie poppet pic but the kitty just loved her poppet owner!

Hope you all like!

That's very cute! I don't like cats but he is awesome. Is he made of flannel?

Does he have eyes?

I think the floaty business is a glass tabletop. Nice touch!

I found this website:
http://dollmaker.nunodoll.com/cat/terrycat.html

Is that the right one? It's very similar, I think Smiley

He's made of a cotton quilting fabric and has no eyes (I guess you could say they're imaginary).

Yay! you found it! This is the site/pattern I used to make the kitty.  This site also has a lot of other cool patterns for all you other sew-ers out there! Have fun!
