Don't be a soap licker

I wish I wasn't allergic to 99.99999% of soaps and fragrances.  Everything looks gorgeous.

Unscented stuff! What do you use for a cleanser? I am just curius, my allergies are why I started making soap. Also, do you notice if you have a problem with artificial fragrances only, or do essential oils also bother you? Some synthetics can bother me, but I haven't found any essential oils that do (well patchouli does, but only because I loathe the scent of it!)

The soap part is actually what I'm allergic to, so any unscented cleanser that is non-soap based is okay for me.  Aveeno is my saviour from itchiness.  Smiley  I can't handle essential oils on anything that touches my skin though the scent doesn't generally bother me.  Unless it's extremely strong or extremely flowery.  Patchouli is enough to kill me!

Need something crocheted?  I'll swap amis, afghans, shawls or whatever for a box of yarn.  Smiley

I received this awesome package from ThreadorYarn on Xmas Eve. Sorry it's taken me so long to post pics, I couldn't find my camera! Turns out it was hiding in my glove box. So, without further ado, here's some pics of what she sent me.

This first one is the entire package. She sent a beautiful notions bag, I was not expecting this and it was a wonderful surprise! It looks like it's hand sewn, it's lovely! Inside it were locking stitch markers in 2 sizes, a bunch of handmade stitch markers in all sizes, and a card that says "from one Lily to another."

This is a picture of the locking stitch markers. I can't wait to use these on an amigurumi!

Here's the handmade stitch markers. They are so pretty! I love them all. I'm going to start knitting a hat just so I can put them to use.

Thank you SO much for the wonderful package ThreadorYarn!! I really love everything. Smiley

Simplyfussfree said that she got the bag that I sent, but couldn't post pictures because her camera batteries had died, so I figured that I could post pictures.

The bag isn't really lopsided, the pictures make it look that way...

The ferns on the bag. I stenciled them myself!!

The lining.

That bag is so pretty!
It makes me wish it were summer time though.

I also sent simplyfussfree a bag and I'm posting pics for her too. I embroidered a Matryoshka doll onto a canvas bag:
