Hey everyone. This is the first repaint I've done in years.
I had a yearning to do one a few days ago and was inspired by Schuyler, the daughter of the blogger at http://www.darn-tootin.com/.

Here's the before:

I even made a tiny Big Box of Words out of polymer clay for her:

hey hey! Nice job! My daughter, Lillian is in the process of being approved for a "talking box". FINALLY. It's cool to see one represented in your art.

I sent Schuyler's dad Rob a note about this and he wanted me to tell you thanks and that he and Julie love it!  Also, he says "Wow, she really did a great job and pretty much got Schuyler just right."

Just thought I'd pass that on.  =D

Outstanding.  I thought it was a photo in the wrong catagory, when I saw the thumbnail.  It always astounds me how ugly the original dolls are and how beautiful they are once a craftster gets ahold of it.  Maybe toy companies ought to hire craftsters!

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

Amalas- Oh, wow! I'm so glad they liked it. I was worried if they saw it they might get freaked out and think I was a weird stalker girl.

meriweather- The doll is a Mattel Hermione doll from the Harry potter series.

Badgerette- How great for your daughter! I think special needs kids make great subjects for dolls.

I think I missed the title or something, but when I first saw the picture I thought it was a photo of a person, not a doll! *this rocks'd*
