So, I'm broke, so for Christmas I made ornaments as gifts.  They were really cheap. I just got the plain glass ornaments, tacky glue, glitter, and some clear glaze.  I think they turned out pretty well.

so this picture is pretty dark, but you get the idea.

oh, and here's the one I made for my boyfriend, no glitter, just acrylic paint.

Cute!  These look great (and they sell for over $6 or 8 at a place like Pier 1!  Yay homemade!)

and you just painted the outside? nice! I'm going to the craft store today to get some glass balls, but
i heard that they have thin glue that you swirl around the inside and the put the glitter inside, so it doesnt fall off.

yea, i was going to try that.  but i just found some spray on glaze that was "triple-thick" and gave each of them a few coats. The glitter hasn't been falling off yet, so i think it worked pretty well.
