Ok, first of all - how do you spell that word??? Noticeable?? Noticable??

By noticeable, that doesn't mean a sale YET but, at this point, I want to make note of ANYTHING positive!  And, also, hopefully help give you guys an idea of something else to do for more exposure.  Now, I know that some of you have already done this but I would guess that some haven't -

I put an Etsy Mini on my myspace profile!!  I had heard it mentioned a few times but it hadn't sunk in (there are sooo many things about etsy that they seem to sink in slowly, one at a time).

Well, I decided to make note of the number of views of my items.  For the last 3 days or so, I hadn't seen any change in the number but after I put the Etsy Mini on myspace, the numbers have gone up on almost all of my items!!  I thought that was pretty cool!

Like I said - no sales yet but it's still encouraging to see that something worked!  I think it'll spur me on to continue solving my broken camera issue so I can get some decent pictures of my new items and get them posted!

I tried to find some info on the etsy forums about how the etsy mini thing works but I couldn't seem to find anything but it's pretty self explanatory.  on 'your etsy' page, go to the bottom left, under "view shop" you'll see "etsy mini".  Click on it and you should be able to figure it out.

Let's see what results you get!!

I don't suppose it works quite as well when your myspace is set to private?  Sad My friends already know about my shop, and they never go there.

hm....yea....probly ...

What about making a second, public myspace and put all your etsy friends on it - and craftster too?

I just noticed today that my etsy mini updated itself on my myspace without my having to update it...pretty nifty.  Smiley

I have an etsy mini on my blog.  I still haven't sold anything, but I think only crafty people read my blog and they can make the things I sell.   Wink

Why does etsy have such strange names for things?  "Storque" sounds like a shop for pregnant women...  Etsy mini sounds like a specialty shop or something

There's also an etsy mini blog now (unsure of the web address could someone post it?) where you can submit a mini to a category and they will post it on the blog.

I just created a Myspace profile for my Etsy shop and I've been adding various crafty people. I haven't noticed any views going up yet because I just added the Etsy mini to the Myspace page and my personal Myspace page yesterday.

I set up my store originally a year ago and never sold anything and gave up. I think it had to do with my pictures not being creative enough. Hopefully, this new Etsy mini will help boost sales.

I listed new merchandise two days ago and already sold an item.

I'm a crafty kid. I just can't help myself.
