I've tried out so many biscuit recipes and they usually don't turn out very well... with the exception of this one:

I jazzed it up a bit though.  Before adding the cream, I mixed in a small handful each of coarse ground black pepper, basil, oregano, and parsley and a cup or so of shredded mild cheddar cheese. 

After they were finished baking, I brushed the tops with garlic butter.  These were most definitely the best biscuits I've ever made!  They're delicious... so delicious in fact that I have made two batches of them.

yes they are the same as scones... although scones are often dropped, while biscuits are rolled, and a few other differences, but basically the same

these biscuits look wonderful, I'm going to have to try the garlic butter trick (I made biscuits with cheddar cheese and soy ham in them yesterday)
