Okay so here is my color theory project for my 2-D Design class... "Design a mock-up for a stained glass window."

18"x24" on drawing paper with gouache.

It was well-received, hope it is the same here Smiley

Lovies!!

EDIT: Sorry for the bad pic quality, I resized the images in MS Paint and I think it compressed them all weird. :/

Ooh, I really like that! That's just great. I would totally hang that in my house.

What a neat idea Smiley

That's awesome!

What exactly is guache? I know it's a type of paint (right?) but other then that, I've never used it or even seen it.

I LOVE the colors and the owl is gorgeous! Is the final project actually going to be a stained glass piece, 'cause if so, would love to see it! If not, you should put the pattern w/pic up for sale - I would totally buy it to try it out! Kiss

It's paint... you're right! Tongue It's like a watercolor but much more opaque. My professor said it's egg-based, using yolk as a binder. Of course he told me after I was done so I don't really know how I feel about that, haha... hope it doesn't start to smell!! :p

And no, the final project will not be stained glass, it was just a mock-up... but how awesome would that be? I'll add "stained-glass making" to my ever-growing list of crafts to learn!!

Thanks for all the great nice comments Smiley
