Love it love it love it!
(To the post starter... I'm the one who PMed you about this post, only it had me logged in on this house's (my sister's!) other account.)

Here's my attempt, ignore shoddy sewing. The fabric is this gorgeous blue/green paua shell fake, and I have there some iron-on cherries. I also sewed in some ribbon of sentimental value (!!!) to act as a tie closure.

The inside, colours look darker:

I love the fabrics you're all using.

Well, I've just figured what my boi's getting for his birthday!

This is awesome! And so easy! I haven't had a wallet in years, mostly b/c I didn't think it was justified to spend money on a "money holder" That, and the fact that I haven't found one that I really like. But after using your great tutorial, I made a wallet that I actually like without spending any money! I'm excited! I want to go buy something and show it off! I really liked the fabric you used in the ones you made! They're great!

Did I post something you might want to buy? Check out my etsy shop! www.gchorddesigns.etsy.com

I dinked around with the sewing until I got what I was looking for.  It is a little different, now sewn up the sides.  Instead of using interfacing for the flimsy cotton that I fell in love with (yay remnant bin!) I used some iron-on vinyl (remnant as well) on the outside.  So now I have this cool ska-esque vinyl wallet.

I actually made another one, but I used Tyvek for interfacing.  I left it at home. (Dorm-dweller)

Anycrap, thanks for the tutorial!  This is definitely my fave on craftster.
