first off, if you are jennyleigh, stop reading this thread right now!  you wouldn't want to ruin your surprise now would you?   Tongue

ok, now that that's taken care of...i just finished crocheting my first bag ever.  but i don't know whether or not i should line it?  for those of you that have made crocheted bags before, do you usually line them, or leave them as is?  one minute i want to line it, the next i don't.  i didn't use a pattern at all, i just winged it, so there's no help there on whether or not to line.  if it helps with the advice at all, i mainly used half double crochet.
Thanks!

I really like to line because I've found, that unless felted, all bags stretch some, plus, it's hard to put smaller stuff in a bag that's not lined because unless it's a small, tight stitch, your little stuff will fall out!  Smiley

I took up running so that I could eat more, not because it feels good.  haha

If you don't line it, your swap partner will loose all of her ink pens  Grin.

They will slip right thru the holes.
