I made this collage recently for a show

I needed a frame quickly so I flipped over a frame I had and set it in the back!!!
I had been saving most of the pieces for awhile

I love this... I am a chubby girl myself, so it hits close to the heart! amazing.

This brought me to tears although I'm 50+ because as a child I heard all those  words and more.  I can't believe I haven't gotten over them yet.

I have had many people tell me that this piece really touched them, which, in a way, is really sad.. Thanks for the feedback.

I love this, it's funny I guess, but also sad that for so long people thought it was o.k. to label girls (especially) as chubby.  I love the angle of the girl, and especially that discolored bit by her feet.  Great job!

Thanks for the feedback...she's really my favourite piece I think. Cuts close to the bone emotionally I guess.
