I love your phone cozy, but I really love your purse as well. Good work.

That is adorable!  What kind of button did you use?  It looks like one of those "clippy" ones (e.g. doesn't use a button hole); how did you set it in the fabric?
Are you thinking of a snap? They have a little tool that you can buy with snaps at like, Michaels, or Joanns, or someplace like that. I got mine at Michaels. The tool is about 3 bucks and a little thing of snaps is about 3 bucks, then you just have to place the snap on the fabric and into the tool and hammer it down. That's how mine works anyways Smiley

Ohhhh okay.  I've never seen them before, but I'll keep my eyes peeled the next time I'm at Michael's!

you've got lies, but over time i'll share your sins.

this looks super cute, but don't you think it's better to use a snap/button instead of velcro? It seems like a little square of velcro might come undone with the weight of the phone if you are bouncing the bag around. Have you tried using the velcro one?

well last summer (in 2003) i had made one for a friend for her glasses, it was the same thing but longer with a velcro closure, and she's using it daily and the velcro still works! however i should point out that the velcro i used is not the kind you stick on, it's actually stitched with a machine and the button i used in my tutorial cozy is to hide the stithces, so maybe that's why it hasn't come undone. anyway, i also prefer the snap, but i didn't have any left when i made the jeans cozy so i used velcro!

there's no tutorial, i just made it up!! it's similar to a hobo bag style and i inserted some furry fabric in the seams, i also lined it with the same furry fabric but i was too lazy to put in a pocket, actually i didn't because i wanted to use the bag as soon as possible, hence i had to make a mobile cozy Smiley
