For ages I have been freezing bananas that have overripened so as to use them in cooking later. I thought it was about time I actually used them! So here is my yummy banana cake with lemon butter icing.

Wow, that looks yummy! I bet it would go great with a cup of tea.
I've got a freezer full of bananas too, but I use mine for breakfast smoothies.

Mmmm, that just made me hungry. Sadly, I live in a dorm that doesn't have a kitchen, so I can't just randomly go and whip up some yummy dessert goodness. But I'll be baking all Thanksgiving break!

wouldn't have thought of putting lemon topping on banana cake but sounds scrumptious mmmmmmmmm
