I made these purses for my hair-dresser's daughters.  I used the basic Jordy-Bag tutorial but I changed it a bit to suit my liking.  I put a strap on each side instead of one going from end-to-end.  I also added a pocket on the front.  The bags are fully reversible and.. Roll Eyes..I guess that's all I can think of.  Let me know what you think about them!    Wink

Those are so precious.  They will love them, and probably fight over who gets which color!  Very nice sewing, too.

That's a good idea for the pocket,  Little girls always love pockets for stuff.  Somehow, I remember putting pretty stones in mine.  Cheesy  The reversible thing is good too for when they don't want matching bags.  I love it!  I may have to do similar for my nieces.

Those are cute, they look so crisp. What kind of fabric did you use for the body? Canvas ? Linen?

I used a semi-stretchy cotton-denim type fabric.  i didn't realize it was stretchy until after i bought it, but it seems to work out just fine.

I want the pink one!  They look very pretty.  Did you do anything special to make them so stiff?

i put random things in the bottom that i found lying around the house to make them stand up nicely.  Grin  maybe that is what makes it look so crispy.
