Great idea! Parents and educators (like me) would love to have this resource. I'm eager to see it come to fruition! By the way, what happened to the "Mom, I want to craft" thread? Guess it died off, eh?

I did a quick search but couldn't find anything, so sorry if this has already been suggested.

I have an afternoon craft session every week with a young girl with special needs and work in a special needs school so I am forever on the look out for easy and quick crafts.

It occurred to me that I can't be the only teacher/teaching assistant/child worker/PARENT that browses the boards and thought it would be a good idea to show and share what we are all making with our children and help eachother when we finally run out of ideas to keep the little angels entertained!

Some crafts on here can be adapted but I find a lot too complicated for younger children/those with learning difficulties.

So what I'm saying is: How about a board for crafts aimed at and completed by children?

(I hope this all makes sense, I'm typing this before my class get back from playtime!!!)

I would appreciate this.  My 7yr. old daughter is addicted to television.  I promised to do a craft with her today in exchange for her not watching after school.  Ideas for projects would help me, and being able to post her completed projects may be encouragement for her.

So much inspiration, so little time

Feel a bit of an ass, I just found a thread about this already.

Here's the thread (though nothing was done about it)

Maybe we could get the enthusiasm going again?

I'll merge this thread with that one, so it's one long-running thread.  Smiley

we so need a board like this!!!!!!
My sons 6 and 3 love to craft! They have painted the wooden shapes and Jewel boxes for their grandmothers. My 6 yr old hand sews he has made himself a puppet and a stuffed bat he mends all his own stuffed toys when they get rips. Both boys are are always cutting and gluing paper and fabric. I don't have alot of ideas left for them and would love a board like this to have as a reference.
Please please please

I am glad to see this idea still attracts people - adding my two cents to this again to get the ball rolling...
