I found some softer ones and made more. here they are:

I tried a couple with the lines horizontal and they weren't as cute.  Tongue

lucky me I was at the goodwill and I found a whole bag full of the old balls that look like ribbon wrapped and they are the good ones underneath. Now to remove the fiber and start covering the balls.

I made some of these babies for Xmas prezzies (future in-laws for my mom, so people I don't know much about). JoAnn's only had the crappy hard kind so I wrapped the edges with yarn. Lavender fun:

And more of an Xmas theme using scrap fabric (plus some awesome white starred fabric):

Had a great time-what a project!

I have not been able to locate the good balls in the bigger sizes but I did find some small 1 inch balls at my local dime store.

I found this on another thread, but I am super stoked to make these for my grandmother-in-law! We are flying out next Tuesday to Seattle to surprise her for Christmas and she will love love love these. I thought about making her those mini knit sweaters, but I JUST taught myself how to knit... and they wouldn't be done before we leave. YEY! Now I can quit searching for ideas today and finish my hubby's scarf. Smiley

I can't seem to see the pictures here. Are they gone or is it my computer?
