Yesterday I was cutting ginger end since that time I can not get rid of thought about making real ginger lip balm ore perfume.
I don't want to use ready made scented oils ore any thing like that, I get allergies after short time of using one brand of perfume and trying to get rid of all as many chemical products as possible.

You can buy ginger essential oil - I use it and love it!

I think Lush has a ginger perfume and they have a wonderful ginger lotion too, plus they don't use the kind of chemicals and preservatives other cosmetics contain.

Oh, yes! Smiley It's called "Ginger" and it's so warm, exotic and feminine. It's a bit pricey but smells fabulous.

I think you can get ginger extract (extract, not essence; essence tends to have more chemicals in) for cooking... they have it in my local Tesco. If you're supposed to eat it, it can't be bad for your skin, right?

You could get some ginger essential oil and then cut it with organic jojoba or apricot kernel oil. You would just have to make sure it was VERY well diluted becuase ginger is a particularly strong essential oil. Also you should not use it if you are pregnant. But if you are looking for something free of chemicals, this would solve that problem. There are several places where you can get organic oils. My favorite, of course, is the company I work for:

Hope this helps! Smiley
