This is Jenny the Blue Bag that I made for my friend's birthday.  I designed it as I went along, I'll try my best to put a pattern up relatively soon since it's very simple.  I used Bernat Satin yarns in blue and brown on size 8 needles.  I lined the purse with an animal print cotton fabric, and I stitched it by hand.

More details and info are on my blog: blondeambitionknits.wordpress.com

Wow, that is so cute!!!!   I really like the basketweave look and the big button.  It's really a great purse!

This is absolutely great! Yay complementary colors! And I love the basketweave!  I can't wait for a pattern! Do you think you might be able to get it up before christmas? I have a girlfriend who would die over this!!

I really like the picot edged band across the top of your purse.  Nice colors.  Nice work!

I like how you added the animal print liner. It is totally unexpected and awesome!
