I received this book on Monday & have been pouring over it ever since.  I love a lot of the patterns.

DH got a hold of the book after DD told him it was a 'Boy Knitting book' He likes 15 patterns.  Wow! this is amazing for a man who doesn't like anything knit!  This may be the start of something!!!

What HE loves:  Gatsby, High Fidelity & Look Cool Socks.

I think the Look Cool Socks are going to be the first to be knit, but in more subtle colours.

I just got my book last night!  I've been waiting for soooo long, or so it seems to me!  Anyhow, my husband and I were perusing it to see what he'd like me to knit and so far this is his list:

Wheel of Fire - which I was told to have done by the end of the month, lol!
The Mixology Sweater
The Biker Boy Sweater

Of course, I am expecting him to add to this list once he sits down with the book to look closer at everything...since he seemed actually interested in it!  He always complains that I don't knit enough things for him...but its usually because there aren't many patterns to knit that he would actually wear.  Seems like we have that problem solved now!

I made two stops on the way home trying to find the book, but didn't find it.  (sob, cry) So, I just ordered mine from Amazon.  I'll be anxiously awaiting the UPS man's arrival!   Grin

I love, Love, LOVE the Cable Guy sweater, so much so that I want to make it for myself.  (But, what I'd really love to have is the guy modeling that sweater.  He is smokin' hot!)  Anyhoo, the patts are awesome and I can see myself making several of the items for the guys in my life, as well as modifying a few of them for myself.  Another great SnB book!

I just got my copy too. The BF likes Mr. Stripey and High Fidelity. But he also read about the boyfriend sweater curse, and I told him I'm not risking it - he knows what he has to do if he wants a sweater Wink.

I picked up a copy this past weekend at Borders. The double-knit argyle scarf sold it for me. I'll be damned if I'm making that for anyone else...I'm saving that pattern for me!

I can't wait to get started on the luchadore mask so my boyfriend can ride his bike in style this winter.

We got our books about a week and a half ago. My boyfriend has a design in the book (he crochets, he's red_pen on craftster) and we were thrilled when it finally came!

My boyfriend wants Mr. Stripey for Christmas, I made him pinky swear that he wouldn't break up with me if I made it for him (which I plan to.)

Sometimes it's knit and sometimes it's crochet.

I'm excited to see this book. I ordered from Amazon and it should arrive tomorrow, Monday! It'll be nice to finally have some patterns for the guys.

hey guys - debbie stoller here again. happy to see your reviews so far! I'm heading out on book tour soon, and trying to figure out which projects to take with me to show in person. Please post here (or email me) the projects you are liking the very best. There are only so many that i can take along with me, since i travel by train and need some room in my suitcase for my own stuff as well, but the items that excite you the most are the best ones for me to bring. thanks!

Hope this isn't too late, but...

There are two that I would love to see in person. The first is the Naughty/Nice scarf, because it would be cool to see the "trick" in person, to get an even better idea how it would look to the average person on the street, versus to the wearer.

Also, the Biker Boy sweater, because I'd be interested to see in person how the patch attaches and works on the sweater.

Oh, and also the Deady Bear, cuz it's just so freakin' awesome and would be very cool to see in person!
