i need some votes, which do you like better?
orginal poppet BODY or elenore BODY
when i look at the original, the dresses seem oddly fitted at the top, but the elenore, the boobs look so HUGE!!

I like the Original poppet pattern/torso for it's ultimate cuteness/young-ness and my two favorite poppets of all time are with that pattern (MalibuKasey's Quinn, and Ghilie's Modela...at least I think it's Modela  Huh)

I like the E/boobie torso for an older crowd. It seems like the adults I know like the boobs a little bit more and you can play around more with more revealing/adult themed clothes like some of Nezbutt's girls.

It all depends on what kind of look you're going for.

I like the flat chested ones best because making clothing is easier"^.^" Or at least the clothing I design. I am thinking about making my own version of the booby pattern for this one pregger poppet I'm going to make. Her boobs will be lower and smaller. Not like super low, but that natural tilt downward.

I like the basic one  becasue for me it's less to think about. I do have the elenore pattern printed out just haven't tried it yet.
For fitting on tops you can do all that yourself to make it tailored to your doll.
One thing to keep in mind is it either has to go over the head or up and over the hips so it's got to be at least that wide. Wink

I enjoy making the original one more, and for how i see poppets in my mind I like it better as a doll. I see them as kind of little fairy poppet people, a kind of little elf, thats the idea my mind has imparted on them all. lol  Cheesy . I only tend to like the 'boobie' poppet if i am recreating a human in poppet form.

This is Blossom, just finished and ready to be wrapped for her new mummy. More pictures will have to wait, batteries just ran out in my camera.

She's adorable and her hairstyle is fantastic. Something about the way your noses come out is just the cutest thing!

mummynat, you poppet is very sweet and adorable Smiley

I haven't made a poppet in awhile, but I had a request from my husband's coworker.  She wanted a gift for her mom for Christmas, so I agreed to make one.  I think she turned out pretty cute so I thought I'd share.

Her eyes are 15 mm and hand painted.  I've used this hair a couple of other times, and I like how it turns out everytime.
Happy crafting!

Smiley I used 18 mm eyes for the purple poppet.  I'm so happy you liked her.  She belongs to my niece and I believe she has lost her eyelashes  Cheesy
