I sew, paint unfinished wood, sketch, make jewelry, crochet a bit, loom knit, and sew. Pretty much if I can get my hands on it to learn, then I will know it. Maybe not perfectly, but enough for a hobby.

this is going to be a huge post Embarrassed ......so forgive me Roll Eyes

this is lucy (ive already introduced her to everyone) but now she has hair and a new ballet jumper

her new bracelet

and poppet number2 is coming along slowly, im not rushing this one thou im taking my time Grin
she has eyelids and eyelashes that took ages to get right, they still not quite right.
the classic head on a stick

she has the matching earings to lucys' bracelet

FYI  I found a book  TOYS TO KNIT i cant remember the auther sorry, its a basic knitted doll pattern with lots of different clothes to knit too. I know some of the clothes will need a bit of mod. (ie to get over the head) but it has the basic shape and so far they are the right size to fit my Lucy.

Lucy is adorable! I love her hair-do! It's super cute! And the sweater came out great. Perhaps if the sweaters were modified to a crossover top instead of V neck it would fit over the head? Still super cute.

the top that Lucy is wearing is a cross over, so i was thinking of doing a few of those.  Ive looked at the rest of the clothes and they will need quite a bit of modification so perhaps i could just slip the legs through the jumpers and pull them up and on that way.

lol. Most people put the clothing on that way so why not? So long as you can get it over the hips of the doll then that would work. I think the main thing is getting it on and off some how. The "way" doesn't have to be a certain way.

I just got poppet #17 all sewn up! I'm working on the head now. It is for a personal swap. It is going to be Brodie Bruce from the movie Mallrats!

So, here is the pair of poppets I made for my church's fund-raising auction, finally. I wanted to keep them simple and cute since I don't know who will take them home, so, no eyelashes or really funky hair. I just used the fabulous easy-peasy dress instructions for their clothes. (Their thread is here: https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=276266.0 )

Here they are before hair:

And, the 'after' picture:

Thanks for looking!
