Sorry no new photos of my red poppet.  I have been so busy that I haven't had a chance to do any more work on her.    I hope to finishing her soon after I finish crafting a few Christmas gifts.
This time of year is hard, I know.  I have a poppet 1/3 of the way done, wanting my attention... but alas.  Christmas.

Well I finishe my 2nd poppet. I ended up redoing her head anyways cause I couldn't stand it wonky. But then it ended up wonky in a different way. Drive me crazy. I am not sure what I did wrong. But anyways the colors in this is way off. If you back and look at the wonky head that is more true to the color.

The person I made it for loves it! She wanted one when she saw my first one. But she doesn't mind the difference. So she is going to make me clothing since I made her the doll! How sweet is that!

Aw, I like your color combo.  Sometimes the head does that when you lay the pieces out with the stretch going side to side instead of up and down.

Yes, I have been lurking...*looks guilty*.... But, I started my poppet yesterday!! I had to wait till my exams were over, which thankfully they now are, until I could start. The only fabric I could find in the shop was a dark red, which I spose would have worked, but I didn't like it so much. Then yesterday I was rifling through my mums fabric stash, and found this amazing royal blue colour velour type material, which I started making my poppet out of. The sewing machine is on its way out (needs a service) so it took much longer than it should have, but I am almost up to the finishing touches! Will take pics when she is done later today! So excited. Oh yeah, she is 70% of the size of the original poppet (same as one of irasema's poppets?). Anyway, will post pictures soon!  Wink Love all the poppets which have been made so far, they are so inspiring!

i love mini poppets! i would love to make a smaller one but i dont think i have the sewing skills! the clothes are what's giving me the headache. That's why my poppets are still nakky!

I love Ping Pong and I absolutley am just smitten with Annas Poppet. I love the color combo and everything!!! What fabric did you use??? I will be starting on another Poppet here soon! *squeals* I am just waiting for the supplies to arrive in the mail! But I am absolutely jazzed! It will be a Diva Poppet. I am making it for someone and she wants it to reflect her daughters diva attitude and style so it will be fun and Beyonce'ish!!!

I used moleskin suede. It was on clearance at joann's. I got 6 colors of it! If you really want some I could do a swap with you. I think I only used 1/4 of yard if that. I bought a 1 yard of it too!

Heck yeah! If you want to swap fabrics PM me! I have only Alova Suede though.... I have it in red, golden yellow, leopard (Le Tigre) and the original tan color. That is what I have for Poppets, but I have quite a bit of each especially the leopard!

poor lucrecia is being slowly torn apart due to the awful stretchy fabric Cry some seams are ripping the fabric and I don't want to move her, just let her stay on her spot on my shelve... my poor thing... I guess it's like she now needed to be on a wheelchair for the rest of her poppet life.

so I thought she deserved a nice outfit, and the crocheted dress is now finished! it fits her perfectly. I made her a flower pendant too. I think whe looks a bit hippie, so I might just do a flower pin for her hair Cheesy

here she is sitting and being inspected by one of my kitties, Luciano

look! she managed to stand up for the picture!

and a close up of the dress and the flower

now I look at her prettily dressed up and think it was worth the effort

next thing in mind: work on her purple sister
