Tricky, that head is awesome!

Kitty - just post 10 times, then you can put pics in.  And you can still sew the ears on by hand as the hair will cover up the seams.  And - good job!

Dragonfly - lovvvvve her.  Can we see the boobage or is it built in the shirt?

DragonFly- Love the pin-up poppet.  Would be neat to see a Norma Jean with her. Smiley  But the sequins rock.

Thanks, all!  As soon as I saw that sequin fabric in the store, I knew what I wanted to do with it.

Okay...now for a bit of poppet porn, as my 16 year old son said...

Ghilie, here is the best pic I could get:

Sadness has set in here! My sewing machine belt just broke as I was giving into to the temptation of making my newest poppet creation. I'm in big trouble now, because I don't know if I can get a belt anywhere in my town and I have a swap to finish  Cry I'm sending the hubby hunting tomorrow to see if he can manage to find me a belt otherwise I may just be going to get a new machine  Shocked My machine is ancient, but I love it!

Okay enough about my machine troubles here is a head on a stick. No hair or eyes yet sorry, but I'm super proud.

This is Teeny. All I finished is the head before...... ugghhh I can't even think about it! I'll be painting on eyes and adding hair I guess until I can get the machine fixed  Cry

Yep 1 inch head!!!

Shocked  Ghilie, I didn't even notice the sequin nipples!  That is so funny!  Cheesy  With my rather limited sewing experience, I thought I could increase the size of the boob pattern I had--this resulted in her having odd flat discs poking out of her chest--which of course I didn't realize until I was stuffing it!  So after it was all stuffed, I had to give her a boob job, decreasing them a little with a ladder stitch across the fronts, then trying to put that stitch in the center to help bring them together a little.  By the time I got done, it probably would have been easier to figure out Elenore!   Roll Eyes

AlwaysInspired, sorry about your machine.  But look at that tiny head!!  It is so cute!  Is it half size?

Nope, Wayyyyyyyyyy smaller than half size! I told my computer 45% and this is what I got. The head is an inch stuffed and you should see the pattern pieces for the legs and stuff! Going to be a turning challenge!
