I'm getting myself a sewing machine for x mass, but for now i have my mothers. I'm slowly adding to my collection, but i have hardly any supplies  (just a great excuse for shopping though huh.. lol try telling my bf that)

This is my 5th claim, 1 sent, and 3 rec'd in this round of OWS.

Hi! Im CrossStitchinMomma and Im live in Tennessee (USA). Im a married 25 year old SAHM of one. Im originally from England so any British candy (if youd like to know what types please PM me!) would be welcome as I cant get it over here! I love anything to do with Victorian or Tudor England. I love to knit. I know how to cross stitch but it generally takes a long time and I like finishing things quickly. I just bought a computerized sewing machine but it is super intimidating to me so I havent really used it yet but Id love to learn how to sew. Anything from my wist would be great too!!!

Cross Stitch:
 - 11 count colored (it has to be colored) aida cloth (this is a present for my great grandmother who has bad eyesight but loves to cross stitch - as its a gift please make sure that the aida is in an unopened package) I can't find colored Aida anywhere and I need to send it out for Christmas soon as its going to England. If possible I would like at least one but more than one would be absolutely fantastic!!!

Some yarn that is in these colors...the rainbow colors, or the black, blue and purple or the "Mixed Berries" http://getknitted.com/acatalog/Shepherd_Sock.html

Some skeins of any soft good quality yarn you can find (my favorite colors are black, purple and I like the rainbow colored yarns too but any color will do as long as its not turquoise, yellow, orange or anything neon yuck!) Thanks Grieney!
Id like to learn how to knit cables so some cable knitting supplies would be great.
As always needles are great! I LOVE bamboo knitting needles!!! I bought a pair of bamboo circs and I love them! Thanks DragonflyDucky - she got me a whole set   !!!
I'd like some yarn like this https://www.shopatron.com/product/part_number=MM/570.0.24215.
or the Chocolate Cherry color from
http://www.claudiaco.com/  <------I would just asolutely love love love to get some of this or another yarn with the same colors(enough to make some fingerless gloves)!
Thanks Dulcinea!

Some beautiful hand dyed yarn with different colors.

Patons Cashmere, Soy Silk, or Wool (please PM me for colors but pretty much anything would be okay)
Any other brand of wool (i.e. Lions Wool, etc) would be great too but again please PM for colors.

Some Brown Sheep Lamb's Pride Worsted Yarn for my upcoming project (the Celtic Tote from IK Winter 07) - Please PM me for colors as I'm not quite sure what color I'm making it yet...

If you could find anything with British flags on it that would super great.
Anything with Victorian ladies on it would be great too.
I would LOVE anything with Asian stuff or geishas. Thanks KittyKill!
Id like some cute hippie/vintage patterns.
Rotary cutter Thanks Homerof2 !
Some fabric with four leaf clovers or Ireland (the word Ireland not actually Ireland itself lol) so I can make a purse for my best friend.

Books/Magazines/DVD (used is perfectly fine!):
A beginner book on felting
A beginner sewing book with lots of details, diagrams and descriptions! (Im a sewing machine virgin!) *I was claimed for this but more are always welcome!*
A beginner dressmaking/clothing how to book.
Id like to learn how to crochet so any beginner crochet book. -Thanks Grieney!

I'd love to have this book! Mason-Dixon Knitting book (not sure who its written by)
The Knitting Answers book (again not sure who wrote it)
Alternaknits by Leigh Radford
Last Minute Knitted Gifts by Joelle Hoverson
A DVD that shows me how to use my sewing machine!

Crafted Items:

BIG WISH! I would love one of these to hang on the back of my door! It doesn't have to have the purse handle thing on it...as long as it has something sturdy like that to hang it from.

BIG WISH! Hanging Star Candleholder (more than one if you want to) (I really like the colors pictured for these but other colors would be okay too - please PM me) - http://cgi.ebay.com/Hanging-Star-Tea-Light-Candle-Christmas-Lantern-Green_W0QQitemZ140175499495QQihZ004QQcategoryZ10935QQssPageNameZWDVWQQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Some of these socks - http://www.ravelry.com/patterns/library/the-firestarter

A cute purse with some sort of Irish theme for my best friend who loves Ireland and has a purse obsession. 4-leaf clovers or the word Ireland on something is usually what she likes the best. Maybe a green cordorouy purse with Ireland on it or something like that. PM me for ideas!

I would love some of these for my hubby! He'll be working in the cold this winter and he loves to listen to music while he's working. Just some handmade earmuffs like this with a spot to put some earbuds or something would be freaking awesome!!!! Black & gray would be fine. http://www.hammacher.com/publish/72714.asp?promo=el_audio
My mum got these for him for xmas so its off the list! Yay!

A bookweight (sorry this is the only example I could find might be filled with that heavy stuff that stuffies are filled with - not sure what its called exactly) http://www.flickr.com/photos/ysoldateague/446404291/ Thanks Estrata!

I saw this on another wist and I am totally in  love with it! I would like one but in black or dark purple material.
Thanks Vala_amaris!
I would love one of these (in black & with the oriental theme would be nice) - http://www.lanternmoon.com/SNC.asp

A Drop-In or Small Purseket (in cute retro fabric or just plain black or purple would be best) - http://www.purseket.com/index.php/cPath/index.php?target=categories&category_id=4
Thanks critterpants!

I would totally love this and I would like be your best friend forever (or something like that) if you made this for me! Stained glass Union Jack (this would be great to hang in my window) - http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6311151

A Union Jack purse (I love this!) http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6799098

Id love just the British Charm (I love this too!) http://www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=6732827 Thanks Estrata!

I'd love anything that would help me to organize my small house. I have alot of stuff and hardly anywhere to put it all. Areas that are most in need of organization: My computer desk...its where I spend all my time! I have a lot of crafty stuff but no where to put it.

A mail/bill organizer or a desk organizer with places to put pens, store paper, etc. Something that has at least a few pockets for mail and pens and is long and magnetic. I was thinking maybe something like the beside caddy looking only longer and with more pockets (or like the wall organizer but smaller and thinner with super strong magnets) If you're interested in making this I can go into more detail if you PM me.

If someone knows how to make a lapdesk and would like to make one for me or my son that would be wonderful. They sell these for like $10 at Hobby Lobby too if you need to see what they look like. Theres a pic on this link too - If you are wondering what a lapdesk is its this thing (it doesn't need to have a cup holder and just plain material would be fine)...http://img.inkfrog.com/click_enlarge1.php?image=ldparislg_(Small).JPG&username=sharps_container_supply&aid=13168672

A coupon organizer Thanks hdcase!

A crocheted table runner similar to this one in black https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=108428.msg1032287#msg1032287
...it doesn't have to be the same design it can be all circles if you want...in fact I think I would prefer all circles but whatever is fine!

Some black and white photographs of old English churches or houses (preferably the ones made of stone or houses with thatched roofs). I know this one is a long shot but I can dream! Just so you get an idea Id like them all to be relatively uniform because I want a set of 3 to 5 to put in a photograph cluster on my wall. Here are a few examples:

Thanks purpleone!

Misc. Wish List -

A DIY beginner yarn dying kit. A yarn dying how to book would be great too. I love all of these hand dyed yarns that are so beautiful and I'd love to give it a try!

A beginner amigurumi kit. Crochet would be okay as I am learning but if you have any patterns for a knit amigurumi that would be great too!

A little devil amigurumi kit (or it would be nice if someone could just make me the little devil amigurumi!).

Wallflowers (refills or starter kits) from Bath & Body Works - Any scent is good but just not Fig, Cinnamon or anything spicy smelling. I like anything with vanilla the best.

My son is 2 years old and he loves anything with Bob the Builder. He also loves trucks and motorcycles.

BIG WISH! A Thomas the Train piggy bank or a Bob the Builder piggy bank. Okay pretty much anything thats a piggy bank that relates to tools, trains, trucks, cars, dinosaurs, monster trucks, Fisher Price little people or anything like that would be fantastic! Oh and if it plays music that would be even better!!!!

Fisher Price little people sets (my son has the barn and the ABC school thingie) or the little people by themselves. They can be gently used but new would be awesome!!!

Okay this one is a far out one but I'd really love The Boleyn Inheritance by Philippa Gregory on CD if anyone is done with it and would like to pass it on to me I would be so so so happy!

Thanks in advance to anyone who picks anything from my list!!!

Alrighty, I claim la_chrystelle for the latest copy of ADORN magazine, and at least some Twizzlers and/or a wisty thing or two. (l_c, I tried to just order them online, but they only send to US/Canada so I had to make sure I could get it first  Wink )

This is my fourth claim, 2 sent and 1 rec'd.  I'm in Maryland and very stressed so if someone could throw in the secret of cloning yourself, that would be fanfreakintastic.

- Woolen sweaters - 'dry clean only' so they full really well.  No size restrictions.

- BIG WISH - feltable wool yarn in non-neon colors (can you tell my washer gets a workout?) I need three skeins that look nice together.

- A copy of Stitch 'n' Bitch and knitting needles, because I just can't bring myself to bribe Dulcinea any more.   Grin  I bought myself SnB, but some bamboo needles other than size 10 would be nice!

- An amigurumi beagle! Really, anything beagle related.  Mine is my only child, after all. A Snoopy shirt would be awesome.

- HUGE WISH! A tshirt or sweatshirt with the Nancy Drew silhouette from the older hardbacks

  - funky silk screened or embroidered or handpainted or whatever t-shirts or hoodies, or heck, sweatpants as long as I'm not going to sit on your efforts

 - something inspired by comic books - clothes, tote bag, etc.  I'm a big fan of the greats - Batman, Supes, Spidey.  Same goes for cello or classical music stuff.

 - hardcover books with colorful fronts (no jacketed ones, please).

 - old vinyl records small 45s or the larger ones are good

 - black and white photos of people Thanks talihina_sky!

 - posters or cards of those older European advertisements with bright colors http://www.allposters.com/-sp/Cognac-Monnet_i404819_.htm?aid=246987

 - Easy-to-crochet-with yarn.  I like the chunky kind, because it goes so fast! Nothing eyelashy please.

 - Looking to get rid of those yarn bits left over from projects? If they're at least a foot long you can send them to me.

- A magic yarn ball!

- zippers, buttons, belt buckles, purse handles, ribbon, other neat sewing notions Thanks talihina_sky!  (purse handles are still always welcome!)

- Any good munchies so I can distract myself at work.  I am on a gluten-free (no wheat) diet, but chocolate is always welcome! And if you live in the Southern US and can send me Cheez Doodles (the crunchy, not the puffy) I will love you forever. Thanks *Maria*!

 - For my man, small GI Joe or similar size figures to customize.  He customized a figure to look like me! What crafty kids we would have. Thanks vala!

- For my son, Jake T. Beagle, some stuffed animals to chew on and maybe some doggie treats (you've got your kids, I've got mine, hehe) Thanks vala!

 - And always, the wist at the bottom.

Other things about me: I am a flitting crafter.  I try something, conquer and move on, but always love to go back! I sew, quilt, crochet and throw pottery when I can find a class.  Also have the random education of an engineering degree with a minor in classical studies, so I work in construction and play cello.  Whatever pays the bills, right? Have a boyfriend and we share a beagle who basically owns the house.  Thanks in advance for picking me!

I claim Grieney for:
 - funky silk screened or embroidered or handpainted or whatever t-shirts or hoodies, or heck, sweatpants as long as I'm not going to sit on your efforts.  **I'll PM you for more info.
 - Woolen sweaters - 'dry clean only' so they full really well.  No size restrictions.  **Nice coincidence:  I just took a good one out of the washer this weekend.  It's a Structure men's large, but when I rescued it from the thrift store, it was about a petite small.  Something happened, though, and now it's even smaller.  Sounds like you might give it a good home.  Smiley

I'm in Virginia.  This is my 2nd claim.  1 sent, 0 received.

1.  I would sell my soul for a Trasformers Toque https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=197767.0
I know it's a big wish, but I have to put it out there in case some knitter would have fun making it.  It would make absolutely the best Christmas gift, but I couldn't make it myself because I barely know how to do basic knit stitches.

2.  Necklace(s)--I love them, and it's safe for me to wear them at work now, so I'm excited to get some more.  I especially love pendants on chains right now.

3.  Pin(s)!  Love those, too.    Sweater season has started, and I love wearing pins with twinset cardigans.

4.  A funky throw pillow cover.  I'd love something with dark green, deep red, and/or deep goldish-brown.  I'd love something really attractive to replace the old patchwork pillow cover that's falling apart.

5.  A pair of mittens.  I like to wear mittens on top of my gloves on cold days.  PM for measurements.

Okay, so some other stuff about me.  I'm vegetarian--leather, fur, and gelatin aren't my thing.  Wool's fine, though.  I'm a teacher, but I don't get into "teacherly" stuff.  Gotta still be appropriate for school, though (no pin-up girl jewelry!). Cheesy  Thanks for picking me, whoever you may be!
