haha! i know we have some weird sayings too, but the first time i heard "on the pull" used, i too, thought, "what are they trying to pull?" lol! the differences in our phrases cracks me up!

My ex-hubby's cousin married an Englishman and moved there from the southern US several years ago.  She was shopping for a waist bag, which in the US is called a "fanny pack", because "fanny" is another word for buttocks and the bag is sometimes worn at the back of the waist.  After visiting several shops one of the shop keepers finally told her that in the UK "fanny" is slang for "vagina"!  She just about died!  But definitely saw the humor in it!

I'm looking to send my Step-Sister's Choice quilt to a new home.  If you're interested in swapping for fabric/scrapbooking supplies, send me a PM.

Thanks everyone!

These phrases - well, "on the pull" anyway - means when you go out and actively search for the opposite sex. Or same sex if that's what floats your boat!

Very cool bracelet! Is it comfortable to wear? I've never used shrink plastic, but I think this same kind of thing might work with polymer clay, too. You can transfer images onto the clay and do stuff with them. It might even be cheaper.

Wow great idea!  Is your material also called "polyshrink plastic"?

Wow, I really like these!  How very cool.  I'm going to have to play with shrinking things sometime.
