Hi! I just joined craftster and have been lurking on the crochet boards for awhile... I checked out the FAQ's since i've been trying to teach myself to crochet but didn't wanna make an ass of myself and ask "can you tell me how to do this?" for probably the umpteenmillionth time on this board... LOL. So i've finally made my first real, wearable item and it's a hat for my DBF's niece, modeled by my son (whose head is too big for it but he's all i had handy at the moment... LOL). I was so excited i just had to share, so don't mind me at all!!

it's got a point and tassle on either side of the head.. he hates wearing hats and i had to struggle to get a quick picture of him in it to show how it fits. LOL.

I too am totally upset that they are taking the servers down to fix things. Why can't they just let things stay broken? I don't care if I can't move due to lag or if quests are bugged. If I leave my room my mom may make me get a job.

Cute hat and adorable model, I love his eyes. I still haven't gotten around to making a hat like that yet. I love yours and welcome to Craftster.

There will always be people who say mean words  because you are different, and sometimes their minds cannot be changed. There are many more people who do not judge others based on how they look or where they are from. THOSE are the people whose WORDS truly matter.

They are both gorgeous!  It feels so good when you have taught yourself and complete that first project. Cheesy  Welcome to Craftster and keep crocheting - there is just so much you can make with crochet.

Nice job, but you know you're in trouble now. Your model certainly will need his own hat.  Wink

Congratulations on finishing your first project. Don't worry about asking a dumb question, this site's all about helping each other and we don't eat newbies here. (Some of the webmaster forums are brutal.)

And welcome to Craftster!!! The more, the merrrier.
