Inspired by various posters here, I made my own heating/cooling pack yesterday. To dress it up, I embroidered a black cat silhouette onto it. I thought that was appropriate, since I compare my black cat to a heating pad. Unfortunately, she's a little harder to get to stay put when I need her to and I can't drape her as easily as I can the pack. The pack worked great.

The pack is filled with rice. Next time I'm going to add some lavender or some fragrance oils and see how that turns out.

What a nice idea about putting your feline on the pack. I have always just made the pads with rice in a big sock. Now, you have given me a great idea to make them look cool !!! Thanks for sharing.
