Regular cotton quilting fabric Smiley The "durable look" is probably because of the flash or something?

I'm really excited!

I came home from work and I was in a very bad mood, but once I saw I had an envelope for Germany I was in a very good mood all of a sudden!

minanina made a wonderful needlebook with my favorite colors:

See? There`s black, pink and green.

She also put many needles inside and this little tool that I have no idea what it's called in English, but I know it's called passa fio in Portuguese..

I love it so much!!!

Thanks again Marina for the wonderful pincushion and Pauline for organizing the swap. It was a fun swap!

Sorry to hear that you had a bad day at work, but it's amazing how a swap package changes things Wink

The needlebook is gorgeous!!  Are you talkin' about a wire loop needle threader?

Cool!  I learned something new today!  I now know what a passa fio is *grin*

Okay...hmm...ronise, a little help...please?

Out of curiosity, I looked up the translation for passa fio Tongue  fio, means fiber/thread?  That's cool...and it sorta makes sense.

But when I did a search for passa, the definition was raisin?!? Roll Eyes  That's can't be right?!?

fio is thread and passa comes from the verb passar and it means pass through or something like that. But yeah, passa also means raisin.

Portuguese is a complicated language.
