That is awesome! I have a hand spindle, but I don't have it here with me. I might have to get it shipped over so I can try this. Thanks for the tutorial!

How heavy is your spindle?  Mine is pretty light since I'm a beginner, I wonder if it would hold up....

Great tutorial!  You could also try cutting the paper up in z formation if you didn't want to keep joining more strips.

THANK YOU!!!!  I've had this idea running through the back of my head since I saw spun paper on Craftzine but couldn't quite figure out how to join strips...  Now to get my hands on a paper.  I'm going to try it on my wheel, but if that doesn't work I have a spindle to fall back on.

if you can't be a good example then you'll just have to be a horrible warning.

Try using archival scrapbooking spray to neutralize acid...or you could soak the papers in water with an antacid tablet (i.e. Tums) overnight, then dry, before cutting strips to prolong the life.

I just wanted to show that you can also vary your yarn size by cutting your paper thinner or wider! (Obviously, but I was excited that I could spin it much thinner)
