My boyfriend and I wanted to be the perfect couple (because we obviously are already) so we're Superman and Wonderwoman! I made everything for our costumes and hopefully I'll never have to make a bodysuit again. Enjoy!

Happy Halloween!

A succubus inspired by the character in world of warcraft:

I bought all the pieces separate and we painted everything that is painted: the top, the wrists, the wings, the horns, the bottoms; we even used red dye on the tights and just painted it on.

I don't have any of my full costume, but ...

I made my skirt and the chest plates for my BF.

My son as Bumblebee and husband as Optimus Prime:

Original thread here:

My daughter's costume was infinitely easier. She wanted to be both a pegasus AND a unicorn (and what 6 year old girl wouldn't?) Her uncle dubbed her "Pegacorn". This is just your basic animal costume pattern (Simplicity, I think). Modified a little bit to make it a unicorn, and then I added wings. The mane and tail are feather boas from the craft store.

My costume was unfortunately just a rerun from a previous year, as I didn't have time to make my own new one! I was Medusa, since Pegasus was born from her blood. This toga/dress thing was also a pattern. It's got that greek-looking trim on the edges but it's hard to tell in the pic.

Love seeing everyone's costumes!! Keep 'em coming!

Here are the cosutmes I have pictures of so far, I'll have to add the others/better ones after Halloween. These were taken before church on sunday. They have trick or treat for unicef.

My middle son was Mad Eye Moody from Harry Potter. For the eye movement, you can watch it on my blog http://enjoyinglifesjourney.blogspot.com/2007/11/what-are-you-looking-at.html , but here's the costume. The magical eye spins, and the wand tip lights up in either green or red (depending if he's stunning or killing deatheaters.  Cheesy )

Here's my youngest son's costume. He wanted to be Optimus Prime from Transformers, however he said it HAS to transform. So here he is in robot form;

And here he is in truck form.

Everything was made with recycled materials too. (Except the paint, which made this far more expensive than I was expecting.)

Here is a not so good picture of my niece's costume that I made. She wanted to be a "strawberry ice cream cone with whipped cream on top"
So that's what she is.

Here's a group picture of my boys and most of my nieces at church.

Here's my husband and I at a party saturday. Halloween is our anniversary, and this year it is our 10th, so we are wheel of fortune. The wheel spins, and the letters turn. It was funny to see everyone playing wheel of fortune on us.

The only picture is Optimus Prime in truck form, I want to see the rest of the costumes, they sound awesome.
(I can only imagine they are as awesome as Optimus Prime, so cool, is that made from cardboard boxes?)

Little Red (or Dead?) Riding Hood!

I made the cape/hood, and the skirt (with stencil), as well as the lid of the basket!

Here's my thread if you want to see more pictures and fun! https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=204725

I love all the costume! I was Medusa this year as well!

I painted the snakes, cute them up and sewed them in by hand to the wig. My fingers hurt after stitching through rubber! The wig I started with was a 'dreadlock' wig, though it was actually braided and not like dreads at all.

I also did the face painting.
