ok so i was trying to make the panta or the calio thingy lol sorry i dont remember what its called........so what do you think?  im kinda new at crochet and ya its kinda bumpy and uneven.....but its the first thing ive done without following a pattern!!! Smiley   oh also i forgot to put a button hole........is it too late?  i mean is there anything i can do without redoing it?

Maybe for this one instead of a button you could use a snap or velcro closure?

You can always crochet a little loop on one of the ends, too, and use that as a buttonhole.
