I am throwing a friend a Dr. Suess Themed Baby Shower and who else could I ask for help but you group of creative beings. Right now the plan is to have a different book per table and theme the table for the book. We will have 2 copies of the book in the middle of the table and one copy will go to the table winner and another to the mother to be.....

So far we have Cat in the Hat, Horton Hatches an egg, ABC, Green Eggs and Ham, Oh the places you will go.

The Invitations will be jewelry boxes with dr, suess figurines inside the box. I will mount them on springs and hot glue strpied fabric around the spring. They will be holding the invitation in their hands and will spring out when the box is opened ( ala oh the places you will go)

What other books and themes can you all suggest..

I always liked, "There's a wocket in my pocket"   and "The Lorax"!

I love the Oh the Places You'll Go theme, how perfect for a baby!

I also like Go Dogs, Go, the pop-up version is really neat.

Daisy Head Mayzie is great for little girls.  Back in elementary school we had Dr. Seuss Day and my friend had the neatest head band with a little daisy she always wore.

Dr. Seuss books bring up so many good memories!

Have you seen the copy of "oh baby the places you'll go" to be read in utero?

Just another Seuss idea Smiley
