So... I think we can all agree that that multi-colored cheesecake is the s**t. So I promised myself I would try it.

So to celebrate a 4-month milestone for my boyfriend and I, I made one in our favorite colors: red and black!

Annnd... its really tasty. But... because of the black food coloring, when we eat it we look like big goth kids Smiley its awesome.

lesee. I used... McCormick? I used like half the thing of black (the black batter was more though) and around a fourth or so of the red. I just kinda kept pouring in and mixing until it was as bright as I wanted it.

I'm a graphic designer/artist so I can get really particular about the colors being bright enough.

Like I said, the black food coloring ends up making your lips black when you eat it. And lets not even start on the color your um... excrement ends up being.

That's pretty awesome... never thought of cheesecake in those colors, well black isn't technically a color, but yeah- when I saw it on the main screen I thought it was roses.  I was going to make a multi-colored cheesecake for my bf's birthday in January.. but I think I'll steal your idea and use red and black, since they are also his fav.

I love it just the way it is!

All black with red in the middle & pulled out in streaks like an exploding star might be kinda neat.  I love playing with my food. Cheesy

I thought about doing a black and orange one for Halloween, but I had no clue how it would turn out. Thanks for posting. I think it'd be cool if you did a two-color spiral.
