I think I found something new I have to knit, did anyone else notice it?  Sorry I'm at work and don't have screencaps.  it was short/ Cap? Sleeved, ribbed waist, lace patterned and fitted...

It was the top Claire wore in the Heroes episode that aired last night (Oct. 16)

If this thread is totally out of place or not allowed please feel free to remove it, I just had to share my excitement of seeing something that looks like a fun knit...

I drooled over her top too!!! I bet it would be fairly basic to make, just a matter of finding the right lace pattern with the right yarn! And of course I'll have to gon a hunt, after I am done with projects 1, 2 & 3.

yes! that one! its fitted cute and lacy! and I like the scalloped edging too.

it looks knitted to me.. but I'm still rather new to knitting, the scalloped edging makes me think crochet?

*sigh* I just have to finish the blanket (1/2 way there whoohoo), and scarf (1/2 way there), annd the Cables Milan sweater (unstarted but going to be a monster project like the blanket (making it for the 6'3" XXL loveable oaf in my life) before i tackle anymore

If anyone is still interested, the stitch pattern looks similar to the diamond pattern on the Cathedral Afghan from IK Holiday '06 which you can see on this page:

I was looking through some old IK back issues and got reminded of this thread.
