for my asl class (and since i want an AA degree in it)
i figured when i went to deaf community events it would be awesome to have a neato shirt.
i used a bleach pen, computer paper, black t-shirt, and an exacto knife
so here it is!

i'm thinking of bleaching "student" on the back.
if i can find a good sign of it.
if not, i may even write my name in the fingerspelling on the back.
or student in fingerspelling.

any comments would be superb!

This is a fantastic shirt!  It would be good to wear to Deaf events since the colors are subtle and wouldn't be distracting . I think adding student on the back would be great too.

ps- I'm a Sign Language interpreter Wink

Wow, that is an awesome idea! I got to go on a tour of Gallaudet University with my senior class; it was amazing.

I must try bleaching a shirt now, that is such a cool effect <3

What a fantastic shirt!  My minor in college was ASL, despite the fact that everyone tried to tell me it was impractical .. I have used it more than I have used my major in the real world!  Haha Tongue

I have a asl shirt that says, "if you can read this lets talk". However mine I got at a thrift store. And I've been wearing it for 7 years so it's all thin vintage shirt feeling.

I don't get your bragging rights though when everyone tells you how awesome your shirt is you get to say, "thanks I made it."

My deaf daughter would wear that proudly. I think I might have to copy it, but I'll use swedish sign launguage instead.
