OH! baby zombie brains! how fantastic! when i first signed up for this swap i made a monkey brains stuffy right away (he would never have survived my partners toddlers though so he went off to scotland to another friend), his brains are different than yours, i really like what you did!
(you can see him here, he's cute! https://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?topic=195129.110 )

Thanks...your Mr. Monkey is cute as well! I love the face expression. Hope your friend will like him!

Wow so far everybody's stuffie is great. Gotta love the Halloween spirit.

Wildfyre, I love that font on the bio card...what's the name of it?

Wildfyre - that bat and pumpkin look great. I love how cute they turned out. And the pumpkin has the perfect shape. Smiley

Monkeythumb - That is one killer stuffie. Cheesy I love the costume. I almost did something similar. I was thinking about making a bird costume and the wings would have been like yours... but I wasn't sure how to do the mask. Too bad I couldn't have peeked over your shoulder. Wink

Margrethe - for someone who hasn't celebrated halloween, you really nailed it! I love that change purse. It's totally adorable. And the heart on the little ghost cosume is such a sweet touch.

Woot! I am crossing my fingers that loves2experiment will receive from me tomorrow. I'm super duper excited to see what you guys think. Cheesy

Thanks! We're very influenced by America and specifically the US through movies, tv and music (entertainment in general) so we /know/ what it is, it's just not a Norwegian tradition Smiley

FINALLY! I can post my pictures of my fabby swap goodies!
First, our "extras" were things for our pups, and she made these awesome bandannas for my little guys!

Cooper seemed to love his...and he really was handsome.

But his brother Alex wasn't so sure.

he warmed up to it eventually though.

And finally She made me an "Evil Homer"-!!! It's the coolest thing ever
(here he's trying to his the knife)

And then I leave him alone in a room with Apu and what happens?

Honestly.

Okay, I'm sorry for the bazillion picceys, but ISN'T HE COOL!?!?!
Thank you so much NyteRayn!

I thought Zed the baby zombie with his brain was the best thing ever. Then I saw Jack the fruit bat, and that was the best thing ever. THEN I saw Evil Homer, and that totally wins.

This is the coolest gallery!

sezouli... Cooper & Alex look so cute in their bandanas! I'm glad they enjoyed them (even if Alex was a wary at first!). I figured it was something they could enjoy- but might not rip apart (as we know doggies tend to do!)  Grin

And I'm glad Evil Homer has found a good home! He was really fun to make- and I'll post pictures of my first try, something I call "Fish Swallowing A Coconut" tonight so you can get a laugh.  Grin

nova, the mask was really easy, it's just a scrap of felt with holes poked out with a regular hole punch and then trimmed to make the bigger eyehole for the bigger eye. the wings are felt with pin tucks sewn in, here's a pic of the back

Yeah, it looks great! I should have tried a mask instead of the helmet-style thing I was thinking of. I couldn't figure out how to make it happen so I moved on to another costume instead. Here is the little bird costume I was going to attempt.

Evil Homer is awesome! hah. He's really well made. It reminds me of those Simpson's Halloween characters from Burger King a couple years ago.
