So, I sent out Saturday and received today! I don't have pics yet of my two newest halloween ghosties but they are adorable!

Of course...I have swap anxiety too but...I'm pretty sure Rika will like what I sent her. Wink Rika, you'll see why I'm amused when you receive!!! lol

I can't wait! ^.^ I'm sure I'll love it! I'm in the process of Finding a Doctor Who Outfit [to be a Female Timelord] LOL! I'm glad! ^.^ I like the Red-haired Ghost.

gah, the owl is so cute!!  i'm so nervous now...my stuffie is tiny by comparison...

Tinier is better, silly Smiley  I would've made the kitty smaller, but it was hard enough to turn inside out already-- that kitty's heard some colorful language Wink

And thank you everyone for all the great compliments... I might actually get my butt in gear and make myself a black kitty too!

I can't wait to see what everyone made!  I love these galleries so much.

haha same for me, cause I happened to use the same Pointy Kitty pattern for Rika's stuffie...only I made the mistake of using CORDUROY. It was so tough to keep it from unraveling...especially when trying to then turn it out! I hope Rika loves her cause she was definitely a labor of love!! Tongue I do think I'll be using the pattern again though. It's so adorable! I esp. love how you embroidered yours!!!

I suppose eventually one of us will post pics...when I get home I'll post if she hasn't already.

That pointy kitty is a really good pattern.  I'm going to have to try making it myself!  I love the jaunty witch hat worn on one pointy ear!

Very cute skeleton too!  Well done smushisweetbaboo!

I received from IamSusie today  Grin  And first, I have to say that I have drooled over her handiwork since round 1 of this swap!

So here's the whole shebang:

Amazing!  I've got Witchy Kitty, who is sneaking out to go trick-or-treating, disguised as a pile of leaves.  Which is so awesome because crunchy leaves are my favorite part of fall!  Grin  And there's the cutest little ghost, who doubles as a pin for me and a bodyguard for Witchy Kitty.  Aaaand lots of KitKats and Twixes because I love them (to the grief of my dentist).  Oh and these neat little wooden Halloween doodads that I think I will bring to work and stick all around my desk because I work with boys that don't get as excited about Halloween as I do Smiley

Here's closeups of Witchy Kitty (and the dozens of tiny little leaves all over, including on her head!):

Thank you Susie!  Cheesy

edited to add that one black cat deserves another... and the pointy kitty is awesome, even if it is a pain to turn =)  smushisweetbaboo, kudos for using corduroy  Shocked  I love that hat!

I'm glad you like Witchy Kitty, Peihan! (I'm not very creative about stuffie names...)

The costume was an afterthought.  My daughter and my husband were leaf piles for Halloween when she was about 3 years old.  I couldn't figure out a good way to attach the head leaves, so I used a straight pin  Embarrassed   Some of my family's real costumes have similar quick attaching methods so I guess that's sort of authentic.  Wink

Actually, it's funny you say that because I typically give my own stuffies very obvious names (ie., Wolfie), but I go all out exotic-ness with stuffies for other people!

A leaf pile is an awesome costume!  How did you guys do it?

And there's nothing wrong using a straight pin... I wouldn't even have noticed if you hadn't mentioned it... I promise not to chew on Witchy Kitty's head and swallow the pin Wink
