i made this in a weekend my provider left me without internet. i wanted to give my house a different something, and thought of working on a small corner my livingroom had, just between the sofa and the kitchen counter. that place had been before filled with a shitty cupboard, some piled chairs, lots of dust and cat hair, so I revamped it all.

first i painted the walls of that corner green. i had thought about doing it in bright orange, but in the end i chose green green. help of cats is always great... i had to chase one of them down the corridor because he was running with green whiskers after sniffing too close to the wall  Tongue

i had bought long ago in a clearance a small shelf in natural wood so i built it up and proceeded to paint it. it has an ivory base of paint... which was one a completely horror. instead of normal paint i got the wrong pot and came home with lack paint. where's the problem? oh well... i wanted to rub it to let the wood show a bit and give it an "aged" look, and being the paint lack, i had to buy a couple of arms because i almost died of rubbing and scratching  Tongue disaster...

anyway i managed it in the end, then i painted with the same green some leaves on it with a stencil sheet, and gave it a coat of matte vernish. a couple of books, the home phone, the piggy phone holder and an ikea lamp later, i like it a lot!

i still plan to put some photo frames hanging from the walls, frames of different measures and colors. i need to think about it. any suggestions are welcome!  Cheesy

ps. sorry for my english Tongue

it's from a Spanish brand called Bruguer. they have an extreme line called Extreme Colors with really gorgeous colors:

Extreme Colors palette

my green is the "verde glamour" (glamour green). the real colors differ a bit from the webpage ones, they are much more beautiful!

muchas gracias paisana!! Cheesy

thank you all for the comments. i really like the green. some friends they say they would not be able to rest or read comfortably with such a color, but i guess it depends on the person. it works for me, looks like being in the nature (and i live almost in the desert, so...)
