thanks again for this great pattern.
I was still a bit unsure when starting out, but you've really made this easy to follow Smiley
After a couple days of bus rides and lunch hours, as well as one stitch n bitch meeting, I give you the completed project:

I have 4 points and a huge bubble in the middle.

*sigh* I guess I rip back again.

Edit: Good lord....I apparently can't read! I messed up on round 1! Roll Eyes

I love the color changes in the pattern, and how it's not that gap-ish, thanks for explaining the stitch you used Smiley

WOW! I have a friend who runs our local SNB (btw, anyone in Auburn, AL here should joins us! It's usually just she and I. We need the company!! ).  Anyway, she's making this blanket for her not-born-yet daughter! I don't know where she got the pattern but she likes the fact that it doesn't have the holes at the seams.
The yarn she's using is soo cool -alpaca I think. The colors aren't your normal baby colors...but it is so beautiful!
I'll have to get her to post a pic or maybe I'll take a pic and post with her permission later on!

Had to try this out for my niece who will be born in March I think. Mine came out a little bit smaller though. Not really sure how big babies are though.  Undecided
Anyway I loved this pattern. I really want one for me but I don't know if I could stand doing double crochet for that long.

This baby blanket is beautiful!!! I'm thinking about making one in a larger scale. It could be an awesome full-sized blanket!  And I love the colors!!!  Cheesy
