Aloha everyone,

I'm moving to Oahu from the Big Island in about a month. Can anyone tell me where the good crafts stores, fabric stores, discount stores are... Any craft groups going on? I'll be in Haleiwa but don't mind travelling to the city once in a while, I'm sure I won't find too much stuff there! Do any of you sell your stuff? Have you tried the farmers market on the North Shore (not sure what town exactly but I think Haleiwa), I heard handmade or homegrown stuff only is allowed. Sounds cool.

Hey, I just moved to Honolulu from Waikoloa this summer to go to UH. I doubt you'd want to come all the way out here, but I go to Wal-Mart and Craft Supply of Honolulu. There's also Flora-Dec and Ben Franklin's, though I haven't been to either of them yet.

If you need yarn there is Isle Knit it's in the Century building on the corner of Beretania and Bishop.  14th floor I think.  I went there for the first time the other day and the lady is awesome and very helpful
