Well my partner and I have started talking.  I needed to talk to her since she is so new there was not much "stalking" to be done and learn from.  I tend to spend a big part of my swapping time brain storming and thinking what to make, so yea, I am still in that stage, then there is the gathering supplies stage, then procrastinating stage, then crafting stage, then worried about perfection stage, then the swap anxiety stage, then the realizing that if I have to get it perfect it will never get sent stage and the rushing to the post office stage.

I am starting a new craft. Turns out what I was doing was flammable and I didn't realize it.
SO, aside from battling fires (small ones, albeit) I've been thinking about the type of things to make. My swap partner (summie) has been awesome so far Smiley

So yay!

OK for some reason I thought that swaps were like hush hush (i.e. no one is 'posed to know what your making till your partener gets it) Now where I got this from I have no idea Huh Roll Eyes But hey now I know and "knowing is half the battle" (Thanks G.I. Joe) LOL

Well it all depends on the partners if it is secret or not.  Some partners like to arrange in advance "exactly" what they are making each other, and some like it to be a surprise, some have a general idea.  It just depends.  Mostly, I like to get surprises and I like to send some surprises.  But since I asked you for things like neck measurements you might get the idea that I am considering jewelry.  There are some swaps that are specifically secret swaps but generally it is up to the participants how they want to play.  Oh of course except in the specific swaps like, dishrag swap, or apron swap.

haven't started crafting yet- procrastinating crafting, which iw as going to do to procrastinate homework, by being on craftster. Tongue
i have a few ideas though. now i see why you craftster kids keep swapping notebooks- i've never done two at a time before, i'm getting confuddled!
it's been cool talking with mimikachu though. usually i worry about doing swaps because i do "hippy crafts" (yeah, i made that up), and i worry people won't like my style. this should not be a problem though Wink
i'm thinking about a bought CD for a small item? is that acceptable? since they said we can't burn a cd....i know that's not crafty at all haha.
