thank-you, thank-you, for validating my childhood memories and inside joke (with myself cuz no on else seems to remember these guys). you did such a great job. i totally want my own puppet like that so i can prove to everyone that i'm not making this stuff up.

i also love the sort-of flasher guy that used to say "would you like to buy an H?" "an H?!" "SSSHHhhhh!" that stuff still cracks me up and i'm almost 30. Undecided

OMG!!!  He's PERFECT!!!!  Are they still on Sesame Street?  I don't remember seeing them for loooooooong time.  They were, however, one of my favs!!!!  You totally rock!

Thanks to everybody! You guys're making me blush. I'm tickled that you all got such a kick out of him, and especially that I could back up some people's Yip-yip memories. They were real! And they were awesome.  Wink   Like I said earlier, they should have been on way more often.

I'm with everyone else saying that this is the MOST AMAZING thing I have seen in ages!!!

They still have the yip-yip's on Sesame Street, but it's never any new skits.  They were always awesome.  I force my kids to watch one DVD in particular just because they are on it  Grin

If you ever decide to make more and sell... I would SO buy three!
It warms my heart to hear that they still come on sometimes, however seldom. I used to talk my cousins into watching a Fraggle Rock tape every time I babysat them. It must have been a hand-me-down, I don't think they even know what it was.

Oh my god, I just popped over to the front page to check my messages and I did a double take when I saw that.  That is so cool!  I love that sketch from Sesame Street, one of the classics and most well known.  Great shot of him next to the rotary phone too Cheesy

Very well done, my hat is off to you Grin
Thank you! I had to walk to the store and buy batteries before I could take the picture with the phone. I had the rest of the pictures, but I just couldn't post him without that one.  Grin

Sorry, but he won't be for sale. His mission on Earth is to stay with me and watch cartoons.

I'm here on purpose.

I don't care that this is page 6 of this thread and I'veread everyone's
post and I agree with everyone else and have nothing new to say.

I LOVE that you made this. Felting. Hmmm. Who knew it would generate this much love in this small amount of time.  But yes. I love very much.
