Would any of you from Lexington or nearby be interested in a craft group that meets once a month?  I've thought for a while that I'd love to have a club that gets together to craft  -- kinda like how my mom used to have bridge club or some people have bunco club.  Kinda like a Stitch N Bitch, but for all kinds of crafts.

Because it would probably involve a bit of mess sometimes, I think it would be best to have it at someone's home, rather than in a public place like the SNB, and ideally it would rotate each month, so that everyone who is willing takes turns and one person is not always the host.  Though if it's only once a month, it could possibly have a permanent home, too.  It could be the kind of thing where members take turns giving tutorials on different crafts, or it could be just that people bring whatever they're working on and hang out together.

It would be a little while before I'd be able to start this up in earnest, after the holidays and new years, after I get settled in my new house, etc.  I just wanted to see if anyone here might be into it, just get some feedback.

Melinda, post it to the SNB list.  I'm interested and I'm sure some others would be as well.  We tend to do a lot of things at the meetings, but they are all related to some sort of stitching or beading, nothing messy, so it would be great to occasionally get together for a crafternoon.
