Hi. I posted this a while back on a different photo carrier, but the photos came out really small and dark. So I'm gonna give it another go:

I made these about a year ago. They are still being used in my living room today, holding up very nicely. I had swiped a graphic art catalog from the lost and found box at work, and right away I knew what I was gonna do with it. I decoupaged two junky old tables. The wood was stained  the ugliest yellow... Ugh, I hated them! Two coats of black acrylic and 2 collages later- the best pieces of furniture I've ever renovated!!

^you can see part of the ugly yellow unfinished end table in the top right hand corner of that one.

a close up^

and my finished end table...

And last, but not least, kudos to Turkish (a cat that I rescued last summer) for helping me with this project.  And by helping I mean not jumping on my wet  collage or tracking black acrylic kitty footprints all over my apartment, which, surprisingly, he did not.  Smiley

Awesome tables, and adorable kitty!  We need an end table or two; so I may need to steal your idea!   Tongue

Oh wow, I really like that. Looks like something I'd have in my house if I would put the time into doing it Tongue

Great improvement! Nice shape of table so it would be terrible to waste it.

I know, right?! I got it from a friend of a friend for FREE. I really love the height and shape.
